Founder & Director – Home for Voiceless FoundationPracticing Lawyer | Animal Rights Advocate | Changemaker
Divya Tomar is not only the Founder and Director of Home for Voiceless Foundation, but also a woman whose journey reflects deep empathy, resilience, and purpose. A practicing lawyer since 2021, Divya’s professional life is grounded in justice and advocacy—but her heart has always belonged to the voiceless: the stray animals on our streets who suffer in silence.
Her story began long before the foundation took shape. Like many changemakers, it started with a small, quiet moment—feeding a hungry stray dog on the side of a busy road. That one act opened her eyes to a heartbreaking reality: countless animals struggling for survival, invisible to most, yet deserving of love, care, and safety.
Over the next few years, Divya volunteered with multiple NGOs, immersing herself in hands-on work—feeding drives, medical emergencies, rescue efforts, and community outreach. The more she gave, the more she understood: there needed to be a safe, loving space dedicated entirely to the well-being of stray animals.
In 2025, her dream took shape with the founding of Home for Voiceless Foundation. What began as a humble mission has quickly grown into a movement, helping over 20+ animals and building a strong network of volunteers, caregivers, and supporters. From injured animals to abandoned pets, every soul rescued holds a story of survival—and every recovery is a testament to what compassion can achieve.
But Divya’s work doesn’t stop at rescue. She believes in long-term change—raising awareness, educating communities, and encouraging responsible pet care. Through herfoundation, she advocates for policy change, organizes stray feeding programs, and works tirelessly to make animal welfare a mainstream conversation.
Outside of her legal and animal welfare work, Divya is a mentor, a community builder, and an inspiration to many—especially young women who wish to lead with purpose. Her journey proves that you don’t need to be loud to make a difference—you just need to act with heart.
As she often says:“Kindness is the language every soul understands. Even the voiceless.”
